Important Information for Your Holiday Day Camp

Dear Camp Participants and Parents,

Welcome to our Holiday Day Camp at The Outlook Riding Academy! We are thrilled to have you join us for a fantastic day filled with fun, laughter, and horse riding adventures. Before you arrive, please take a moment to review the following important details:

Key Reminders:

  • Drop-off Time From 8:30 AM - 8:45 AM
  • Pick-up Time: 2:20 PM - 2:30 PM
  • Pack lunch, food snacks, a hat & a change of clothes for an afternoon activity under a sprinkler (ie. shorts & t-shirt)
  • We will provide each rider with a helmet
  • Riders should wear stretchy long pants, a t-shirt or long-sleeve shirt, and enclosed shoes for riding
  • Ideally, shoes should have a heel, but riding boots, gum boots, or trainers are all acceptable

Packing List:

Please ensure your child is well-prepared for a day of horseback riding and outdoor activities by packing the following items:

  • Morning tea and lunch.
  • A water bottle.
  • A hat for sun protection.
  • A jumper for cooler weather.
  • Sun protection items (e.g., sunscreen, sunglasses).
  • A change of clothes that can get wet, as some kids may want to cool off under the sprinkler/hose.
  • Most riders wish to change into something cooler/lighter after riding, please include a change of clothes (e.g., shorts, t-shirt, and shoes).

Special Needs or Assistance:

If your child has special needs or may require extra assistance during the camp, kindly inform us in advance by reaching out to remond6@bigpond.com when creating your booking.

On the Day:

  • Camp Location: Enter at Gate 2/256 Scenic Highway, Terrigal. Look for our prominent horse sign.
  • Upon arrival, riders will be signed in by a staff member, and each child will be provided with a name tag.

Wet Weather Plan:

Come rain or shine, our camp will always go ahead! In the event of wet weather, activities will be held undercover and in protected areas. We recommend bringing extra clothes for wet days, including a raincoat, jumper, gumboots, and a spare set of clothes and shoes.

We can't wait to welcome you to our camp for an unforgettable day with our wonderful horses 🐴. If you have any further questions or require additional information, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

Kind regards,

The Outlook Riding Academy Team & Horses 🐴
